HER STORY
A leadership journey
built on truth.
Pamela Gordon Carty has spent over two decades building institutions, in business, in government, in her community, and on the page. Every chapter of her work, from founding companies to serving as a Minister to publishing I AM ME Magazine, is one continuous pursuit: leading people, and herself, toward honesty.

LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY
Three principles that guide every chapter
Across business, public office, and philanthropy, the same convictions have shaped how Pamela leads.
Lead From Truth, Not Title
Authority fades. Integrity is what people remember and trust, in a boardroom, a ministry, or a mentorship. Pamela has built every role on honesty first, position second.
Build What Outlasts You
A company, a foundation, a policy, a publication, real leadership creates institutions that keep serving people long after you've moved on to the next chapter.
Service Is the Highest Form of Leadership
Whether in government office or grassroots outreach, Pamela measures impact by lives changed, not titles held, a standard that shapes every initiative she leads.

PAMELA'S JOURNEY
From enterprise to public office, and back to purpose
Pamela's path began in business, where she founded the Simply Masters Group of Companies and learned early that sustainable success is built on people, not just performance. That belief carried her into public service, where she was appointed Minister of VSA, overseeing Health, Social Development, and Labor, a role that placed her at the intersection of policy and everyday lives.

It was there she saw, up close, how much impact happens outside government, in communities that needed more than programs; they needed presence. That realization led to the Simply Masters Foundation, and later, Africa Mundus, extending her humanitarian work internationally across four countries.

Throughout it all, Pamela kept returning to a quieter form of leadership: writing. What began as personal reflection became I AM ME Magazine, not a departure from her leadership work, but its most personal expression.

ONE PART OF A LARGER STORY
Why I Founded I AM ME Magazine
After years leading in boardrooms and government office, Pamela noticed the same truth surfacing everywhere: people perform far more than they live honestly. I AM ME Magazine became her way of extending that same leadership work, service, clarity, and truth — onto the page.
"Every role I've held has asked me to help people see more clearly — the magazine is simply the most personal version of that work."
It isn't a separate project from her leadership. It's the most intimate expression of the same mission that built the Foundation, guided her time in office, and continues through Africa Mundus today.
